An exhibition entitled “Commentary x Humour = Cartoons before and after the 1911 Revolution” is being on stage at the Dr Sun Yat-sen Museum until October 10, introducing the situation in China in the late Qing period and the revolutionary road to the establishment of Republican China through about 70 images of cartoons published before and after the 1911 Revolution and other relevant artefacts. The exhibition presents important chapters of modern Chinese history clearly and vividly, revealing from different perspectives the lead-up to the 1911 Revolution and its impact on China.
